The MEDC or Michigan Economic Development Corporation will be giving $1.1 million in loan money to the Mark One Corporation in Gaylord.

The company has recently expanded to operate their new GreenCleen technology.

Which is a form of cleaning steel without using harmful chemicals. The money given to the company will generate new jobs.

After one of his associates contacted the state, Frank Kestler President and CEO of Mark One got the ball rolling.

"Somebody from the MEDC contacted us and that's how we got started then we worked with our bank to put together a business plan that was submitted to the MEDC and then our funding request was approved last week."

The money from the MEDC will create over 50 new direct jobs.
