The Chippewa County Health Department will be holding a flu clinic.
Even though they'll be distributing the seasonal flu vaccine, which has been available for some time now in most areas, they'll be limiting the availability to certain people.
The Chippewa County health department will be limiting its distribution of seasonal flu vaccines to Chippewa County residents only.
They say this is due to a delay of the vaccine from their manufacturer.
Diane Krueger is with the Chippewa County Health Department
"We just won't have enough vaccine, we need to focus on our county first that's what the vaccine is for, so we have to focus on them first, and we expect more from the manufactures in later October and we'll definitely get more in November. But because of this delay we are asking just Chippewa county residents for general public."
Krueger says the only exceptions to the limitations are employees and members of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians and the Bay Mills Indian Community. Employees of War Memorial Hospital and Lake Superior State University Students are exempt from the limitations as well.
